B.Tech Marine Engineering is a 4-year professional program that trains students to become marine engineers capable of operating and maintaining ship machinery.

Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM), minimum 70%; age ≤ 20 years; physically fit with 6/6 eyesight, normal hearing, no color blindness; valid passport required.

Duration: 4 years, including academic training and mandatory STCW courses.

Career: Graduates can join as Junior Engineer Officers on merchant ships. After 6 months of sea service, they are eligible for Class IV Part ‘B’ examination and can become Certified Engineer Officers.
